Rep. Roe, M.D. (R-TN) released the following statement on the SGR fix discussion draft released by the Energy and Commerce and Ways and Means Committees: 

One of the most important issues facing the medical community is the Medicare’s flawed sustainable growth rate formula. I am pleased that the Energy and Commerce Committee continues to seek out a long-term solution to this problem, and today’s draft release is another positive step towards achieving meaningful reform.  I look forward to working with my colleagues on the House Ways and Means Committee, the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the GOP Doctors Caucus to find a permanent solution.
