“Today’s budget proposal unfortunately underscores President Obama’s unwillingness to compromise, make tough choices and cut spending. His $3.7 trillion plan increases taxes by more than a trillion dollars and fails to set the stage for a balanced budget. East Tennesseans have already rejected these tax, borrow, and spend policies and I’m disappointed to see yet another case of failed leadership from our president.”
